I-ON Communications donates USB for children in vulnerable areas of educations in Indonesia

I-ON Communications Co., Ltd. (“I-ON”), an expert in unstructured data management, has donated USB(“Universal Serial Bus”) for Indonesian children in vulnerability areas for education with Do Together (“Do Together'') as a collaboration donation campaign.

Do Together (“Do Together”) is a non-profit organization founded in February, 2022. The founder of this organization is a high school student in Indonesia named Hyun Jun Bae. He first started the campaign called the “USB Tutor Campaign” after realizing the severity of the internet infrastructure imbalance in Indonesia.

Due to the imbalance, the children in the small rural cities were unable to get the education they needed. To solve this problem, Hyun Jun Bae started to store various online education contents in the USB memory and distributed it for free to the Indonesian children in weak areas of the education system.

To expand the scale of the campaign, he searched for companies to support USB supply.

I-ON gladly joined the campaign and started its own USB collecting office campaign to collect as many USB as possible. The result of this office campaign was successful and the company donated the collected USB to the Do Together. (“Do Together”)

After the donation, James Oh, I-ON Communications' CEO mentioned that “Last year, I-ON had a business with the Indonesian security firm called BRIDS(“BRI Danareksa Sekuritas”) and this July successfully completed the project. Therefore, we were more than happy to take part in this campaign helping Indonesian children.”

I-ON will continue to make an effort in social contribution activities and helping the people in need.
