I-ON Communications (CEO, Oh Jae-chul, www.i-on.net), an unstructured data management company, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bridge International Group (CEO, Cho Han-bok, www.bridgeigroup.com), a London-based sports agency, on joint business and marketing cooperation.
Bridge International Group was established in London in 2008 and has been connecting businesses between South Korea and Europe. Starting with the London Olympics, Bridge International Group has focused more on a variety of sports-related businesses. They operate soccer training programs for youth as well as coaches or managers and run high-quality international youth competitions in Korea on behalf of organizations such as Korea Football Association.
The agreement consists of a collaboration between Bridge International Group, who is active in the UK and domestic sports industries, with I-ON Communications, which has strong development capabilities in the Sports Data sector.
I-ON Communications has developed a Sports Video Platform, Flexer, that can enhance youth sports by providing technology that collects players’ and game data and visualizes them on the dashboard. This is crucial for coaches and athletes that want to improve their performance. Scouts can also receive objective data to assess players abilities.
I-ON Communications and Bridge International Group agree to market I-ON’s sports data management technologies in European region and collaborate on enhancing Bridge International Group’s Korean domestic sports business by utilizing I-ON’s technologies. And this special partnership is expected to bring innovations to Youth and Amateur sports which are suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic.
