I-ON Communications Co., Ltd. (“The Company”, “I-ON”) is getting ready to launch its e-Signature solution, e.Form internationally after signing two Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with overseas distributors.
On July 9th, The Company has entered into an agreement with Singapore-based EFORM Pte Ltd (“EFORM”) to establish a collaboration in e-Signature business with I-ON’s electronic signature solution e.Form. EFORM CEO Steven Lau and I-ON have maintained a positive relationship for a long time that has resulted into a determination to form an official partnership. Since 2014, EFORM has dealt with government tenders and offers a wide array of business solutions that will help I-ON establish its presence in Singapore.
On July 11th, I-ON and Law Asia 365 Sdn Bhd (“LA365”), a Malaysian consultancy firm, have signed a MOU for working together on international launch of e.Form for the Malaysian market. This MOU is a direct result of trust between the companies and a sign of a serious intent to form a long-lasting collaboration in the electronic signature business. LA365, specializing in knowledge management for the legal practice, is to become an official reseller of I-ON’s e.Form for the Malaysian market and as a consultancy firm would do its best to promote e.Form to its network of law firms and legal entities.
Bruce S. Lee, Head of International Business Team has said, “We are so much excited about the upcoming cooperation. Entering a new market with our e-signature solution is a big step for I-ON as we’ve been preparing for a long time and we are thrilled to see the results of our efforts for the expansion towards South East Asian market. We are looking forward to this mutually beneficial partnership as believe we found a perfect fit that will help us establish a strong presence abroad and we are convinced that working with these industry professionals will help us thrive in Singaporean and Malaysian market.”
I-ON e-Signature solution, e.Form is a service that reduces workload, saves time and cost and helps the company go green, all at the same time. With e.Form, anyone can process contracts, agreements, applications and many more without meeting face-to-face or worrying about physical documents storage. The official international release is scheduled for September this year with LA365, first in Malaysia, and then in Singapore with EFORM, after which the rollout is planned for Indonesian and Vietnamese market by the end of the year.
“With this MOU, we hope to enable the long-term success of our solution in overseas countries and strengthen the business ties with our partners, EFORM and LA365. In order to provide the most stable and secure e.Form service to our clients in Southeast Asia, we plan to set up AWS (Amazon Web Services) for fast access to the server in the region, which will also strengthen our position in the new market as authentic digital signature supplier,” stated Rex Yu, Director of e.Form Service Team. “We believe this is just the beginning and are anticipating great results that would both enrich our solution and induce new business opportunities.”
